Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha on Thursday gave his explanations to reporters, while asked if after the process initiated by him in a French court, will he hand over the mandate and be completely out of politics, Berisha replied: “I said that you will double it… ”

The former prime minister closed his conference with this response, while causing laughter.

Also present at the Rogner Hotel were his supporters, who accompanied him to the exit with cheers.

Recall that in his speech to the media, Berisha announced that he would respond with a defamation lawsuit to US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who the day before gave the first DASH decision to declare the former prime minister non grata Albanians in the US.

“I instructed my lawyer in a neutral country like France to file a direct defamation lawsuit against Mr. Blinken“, Said the former prime minister.

Berisha said that his dignity was violated by the suspicions of corruption, on which the decision was made to declare him non grata.

The former prime minister was careful to make a split between the US and Mr. Blinken, who he said insulted him by bringing an indictment against him without evidence.
